Area ranchers keep the stores’ meat department in constant business, butchering approximately 550 steers and 350 pigs per year. A longtime supporter of local 4-H, Saco Pay and Save is in full production at county fair time, with many of the animals sold being delivered right to the Saco Pay and Save for processing.

Saco Pay and Save currently provides employment for 9 full time employees who work alongside the owners, each well trained in one or more areas of the business. 

The owners are longtime residents of the community and while they are ready to retire, they aren’t leaving Saco and are more than willing to provide the training necessary to get the new business owner off to a great start.
